Understanding Injury Resources

In Carers Week, we were proud to launch our new Understanding Injury Family Resources for Members, alongside our partners at Midlands Op COURAGE Partnership and Op COURAGE London.

These age-differentiated, interactive conversation guides and prompts have been created to help families better understand and talk about injury together, supporting communication, emotional wellbeing and resilience across the whole family unit. They have been produced with advice from a clinical psychologist, an educational specialist and with input from our Members.

Dr Dan Barnard says, "These important new resources do a particularly good job of making potentially complex subjects understandable in an age-appropriate, compassionate and reassuring way. The Ripple Pond, on behalf of the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust, have combined clear psychological thinking with thoughtful language that helps families explore important conversations in a safe and supportive way"

Through membership, families can access practical resources like these, peer support communities, wellbeing workshops and interactive support tailored to their experiences.

Together, we can ensure families feel informed, connected and supported throughout their journey.
