Understanding Injury Resources
Supporting Conversations That Strengthen Families
Living with an Armed Forces-related injury can affect the whole household, including children and young people who may not always understand what is happening or how to express what they are feeling. These resources are designed to help families have open, age-appropriate conversations about injury, change, emotions, and everyday family life.
Through conversation guides, videos, and practical follow-up support, we hope to help families build understanding, connection, and resilience, so that difficult experiences are shared, not carried silently into the next generation.
These resources have been produced alongside health and educational professionals, a clinical psychologist, as well as those with lived experience to help you have the conversations that matter.
*Please note that these resources are not for distributing outside of The Ripple Pond Membership without express permission.
